“I take initiative and I persevere even when things are difficult. I form trusting relationships and practice kindness to nurture my friendships.” This week we had an unusual schedule that included a family lunch and classes attending one or more of three different field trips!

“I apply cultural and historical understanding and design thinking to solve complex problems!” This week East and West revealed the major project they have been working on for the past month and wow is it impressive!

“I demonstrate teamwork, servant leadership, graceful communication, and mathematical fluency!” This week was a week that all outdoor-based schools pray for! Cool temperatures, no rain, and falling leaves provided lots of productive outside time with ample natural materials.

“I am an image-bearer! I listen for understanding and build trusting relationships.” This week we enjoyed several days of very nice weather which means a lot of outside learning time at Joshua Academy!

“I am creative and value my role as a member of a team.” This week we engaged our creative brains in a STEM activity to design and build a car from recycled materials.
